During the summer vacation periods, our University of Reading Whiteknights and London Road campuses offer a wide range of diverse facilities and venues to host your conference.
We host a number of large conferences every year, including academic conferences and corporate events. Our experienced Venue Reading conference team will work with you to co-ordinate your event to your requirements.

Conference and Meeting Space
Palmer building – Home to our largest lecture theatre (G10) seating 400 delegates. Multiple classrooms available throughout the Palmer building with capacities ranging from 28 – 91 delegates. The large foyer area can be utilised for catering or exhibition space.
Henley Business School building (Whiteknights) – With its unique and modern infrastructure the Henley Business School has multiple classrooms available with capacities ranging from 24 – 40 delegates, the largest lecture theatre seats 275 delegates.
Agriculture building – Situated on the main Whiteknights campus at the Early Gate entrance the Agriculture building has multiple classrooms over two floors with capacities ranging from 20 – 80 delegates, the largest lecture theatre seats 244 delegates.
Accommodation
The Cedars Hotel is located at the centre of Whiteknights campus, providing 36 ensuite bedrooms.
With over 2000 bedrooms, The University of Reading halls of residence on the Whiteknights Campus provide modern en-suite facilities available during University summer vacation periods.
This comfortable and affordable accommodation is ideal for large groups and summer residential programmes.
Catering
Our dedicated catering team can cater for all types of events; a working lunch delivered straight to your meeting room, buffets and finger food while you are networking, formal drinks receptions, and fine dining for conference dinners.
There are also restaurants, cafes, and food & bar outlets on campus offering a range of food and drink options.
Sports Facilities
The SportsPark on campus has a number of facilities including a fitness studio, floodlit all-weather hockey and football pitch, indoor tennis courts, and large grass pitches for activities.

The University of Reading is in a prime location in the South-East of England and has excellent transport links.
Reading’s railway station has high speed links to and from London Paddington, as well as regular services to and from other cities around the UK. There are direct services to and from both London Heathrow and London Gatwick Airports.
