We are refreshing our meal plans for the 2020/21 academic year, take a sneak peak at Clever Cuisine
Available to any full-time student at the University of Reading; Meal Plans provide a number of prepaid meals each week allowing you to focus on University life and get the best possible degree rather than worrying about shopping or cooking.
Money is loaded onto your Campus card ready for Saturday morning .
Each week, you need to use your money by 11.59pm on Friday night – this is to encourage everyone to eat! You can max out your Meal Plan balance by using a debit card e.g. if an Apple is 50p and you have 42p on your Campus Card, you can pay the 8p on debit card. We will also give you the same discounts as if you are paying entirely with Meal Plan money.
Given up on cooking? Don’t worry, you don’t have to miss out as our Meal Plans are still here to buy! Meal plans can be bought throughout the term, a revised start date and price will be shown whilst purchasing your meal plan.
Thursday 19 September – Last day to sign up to Full Academic Year and Full Autumn Term Meal Plans

Monday 30 September – Term Begins
Friday 13 December – Term Finishes, Meal Plans end

We can cater for the majority of special diets at the University of Reading, whether they are avoiding certain allergens or for religious, personal preference or medical reasons. We are currently catering for gluten-, dairy-, nut- and egg-free diets as well as halal and vegan. Please contact us before arriving and we’ll work with you to ensure we have food that matches your preferences – mealplans@reading.ac.uk. Please note we are currently unable to cater for Kosher diets.
